Responsibilities
- Define and own target architecture for a unified hybrid platform spanning on-premise infrastructure and AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Establish reusable platform services, self-service capabilities, reference architectures, design principles, standards, and governance processes.
- Define architecture for Kubernetes-based application platforms, service mesh patterns, Internal Developer Platforms, DevSecOps, observability, and automation.
- Design scalable data platform architectures including data lakes, data warehouses, lakehouses, and batch and streaming processing.
- Define AI/ML and MLOps platform architecture, including Agentic AI orchestration, LLM integrations, agent lifecycle management, reasoning workflows, and safety controls.
- Design on-premise data center, multi-cloud landing zone, connectivity, Infrastructure as Code, security, resilience, high availability, and FinOps architecture.
- Lead and mentor platform architects and engineering teams and communicate architecture vision to technical and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in platform engineering, cloud architecture, or infrastructure architecture.
- Strong experience designing hybrid and multi-cloud platforms and defining enterprise-scale architecture standards.
- Proven leadership experience in architecture or senior technical roles.
- Deep expertise in at least two of AWS, Azure, and GCP, along with strong understanding of on-premise infrastructure and data center architecture.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes ecosystems and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
- Strong architectural knowledge of modern data platforms; Databricks, Snowflake, and BigQuery experience is preferred.
- Preferred experience designing or enabling AI/ML platforms and MLOps pipelines, with understanding of LLM ecosystems, agent-based systems, and orchestration frameworks.
- Strong architecture, system design, governance, strategic thinking, communication, stakeholder management, and cross-domain collaboration skills.
