Responsibilities
- Report to the Sr. Director of QA.
- Design, execute, and report on performance testing strategies for new features during the SDLC.
- Develop automated tests for nightly and pre-release performance and scalability pipelines.
- Collaborate with Performance Engineers and Solution Architects to enhance platform architecture.
- Investigate high severity defects related to performance or system resources.
- Build tests to measure front-end performance.
Requirements
- 5+ years in Performance Testing / QA role with experience in identifying system bottlenecks.
- Strong technical background in performance, load, and scalability testing methodologies.
- Experience with JMeter or K6.
- Experience in front-end and back-end performance testing for SAAS platforms.
- Solid understanding of API testing with REST/GraphQL frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of Javascript test frameworks, especially K6.
- Proficient in Git and managing GitHub Actions pipelines.
- Experience with APM tools like Observe, New Relic, or Grafana.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and mentor others.
- Proven understanding of system (NodeJS) and database (NoSQL, MongoDB) performance.
- Working knowledge of cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to manage multiple projects.
