Base Salary
$135k - $189k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop multi-threaded embedded software in C/C++.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software with hardware systems.
- Contribute to technical documentation, code reviews, and design discussions.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues using telemetry, logs/traces, code instrumentation, and software and hardware debugging tools.
- Develop unit and integration tests and application automation, integrating them with CI/CD pipelines.
- Contribute to control and data plane architecture, software optimization, and system quality and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of embedded software development experience in C/C++ on Linux, RTOS, or bare-metal platforms.
- Strong understanding of C++ object-oriented design and implementation.
- Knowledge of embedded systems debugging with software and hardware tools such as gdb and JTAG.
- Knowledge of standard peripheral interfaces including SPI, I3C, I2C, PCIe, and CAN.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee or asylee.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in a relevant field.
- Preferred: at least 2 years of embedded software development experience for mission-critical systems.
- Preferred: experience with Linux networking and inter-core or inter-processor communications.
