Responsibilities
- Define requirements, technical designs, development plans, testing, deployment, and product rollouts.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services primarily using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Develop and maintain mobile infrastructure, including automation, deployment strategies, monitoring, and operational excellence across cloud environments.
- Architect and manage backend solutions deployed on AWS and Azure.
- Build and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, security scanning, and deployment.
- Provide Level 3 production support and troubleshoot mobile backend and infrastructure issues.
- Collaborate with product and application development stakeholders on product scope, technical roadmaps, and release timelines.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and research emerging technologies and platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Around 3–5 years of experience in software design and backend application development.
- Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript, with knowledge of clean code, design patterns, and software engineering practices.
- Experience designing and implementing solutions on AWS or Azure, including cloud-native services, security, and scalability considerations.
- Hands-on experience with microservices, Linux or Windows environments, Dynamo database, and cloud technologies.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or Docker Swarm.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, including automated testing, deployment, and release management.
- Understanding of coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build automation, testing, security, and operations.
- Strong Agile development experience and ability to work with global, multifunctional teams.
- Experience in financial markets, financial data platforms, or fintech is advantageous.
