Base Salary
$138k - $182k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain efficient systems for real-time data processing.
- Simplify existing systems by consolidating and updating code.
- Coach and develop the technical skills of other software engineers.
- Lead projects with a strategic view of the vertical.
- Define future architecture using modern technologies.
- Solve complex problems collaboratively with team members.
- Write secure, stable, and maintainable code.
- Participate in team design and prioritization discussions.
- Document software to ensure clarity for future developers.
- Participate in on-call support rotation.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong backend experience with Java and Microservice Architecture.
- Experience with AWS and understanding of DevOps concepts.
- Familiarity with AWS events and serverless technologies.
- Good grasp of relational and non-relational databases.
- Experience with high volume systems.
- Understanding of modern architectures and design patterns.
- Expertise in testing concepts and integrating best practices.
- Strong sense of ownership and urgency.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
