Responsibilities
- Define the vision and roadmap for Proton’s product security function.
- Build and grow the product security team.
- Serve as the primary product security partner across the company.
- Review product designs, code, and delivery processes to embed security from the beginning.
- Create security playbooks, policies, developer guidance, and automated security workflows.
- Build tools, processes, and culture that help engineers ship securely.
- Lead Proton’s bug bounty program.
- Influence product roadmaps and release priorities through security expertise.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of application security experience in SaaS or privacy-focused environments.
- Experience reviewing code for security issues.
- Experience coordinating remediation of application security findings with affected teams.
- Experience with penetration testing.
- Experience with SAST tooling.
- Experience defining and implementing processes across the full software development lifecycle.
