Responsibilities
- Define, design, develop, and implement custom software solutions using the Appian platform.
- Work across the full software development lifecycle with commercial customers and their technical teams and business users.
- Understand client business processes and technical needs and launch relational data models into production.
- Develop APIs and integrations with multiple systems.
- Gather functional and technical requirements and collaborate with customers to solve the right problems.
- Empower clients to become self-sufficient in building process applications on the Appian platform.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of hands-on software development or technical consulting experience.
- Fluency in English and German.
- Experience with object-oriented programming, relational databases, database design and data modeling, and SQL queries, joins, and views.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Ability to define business processes and gather functional and technical system requirements with clients.
- Experience working on cross-functional teams and building products using agile practices.
- Knowledge of software testing practices, automated test suites, API integrations, JDBC connections, and web services.
- Willingness to travel approximately 20% to support customer engagements.
