Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance software that transforms advanced GNSS algorithms into high-quality products and services.
- Own features through design, implementation, integration, deployment, and operational support.
- Build and improve CI/CD, packaging, and release pipelines across multiple platforms.
- Collaborate with research, development, and operational teams to integrate capabilities into production.
- Design tools for software validation, testing, monitoring, and end-user feedback.
- Support software quality through code reviews, automated testing, and Agile development practices.
- Document critical systems and share knowledge to improve team resilience and reduce operational risks.
- Integrate Fugro solutions with partner systems and provide technical assistance to customers when needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Navigation Technology, Geodesy, or a related technical discipline.
- Several years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or software product development.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and experience with Python or similar languages for tooling and automation.
- Hands-on experience with embedded systems, Linux-based environments, and production software deployment.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, software packaging, release management, and DevOps principles.
- Ability to balance software, hardware, and operational requirements using a systems engineering mindset.
- Fluent English communication and ability to work with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Knowledge of GNSS, high-precision positioning, Agile tooling, and AI-assisted software development is desirable.
