Responsibilities
- Build core machine learning systems for a proactive, long-horizon AI product.
- Own data preparation, training, evaluation, inference, and iteration end to end.
- Translate research ideas into reliable production systems and debug model or system failures using production signals.
- Optimize ML systems for accuracy, latency, cost, reliability, efficiency, and safety.
- Maintain robust, scalable, and maintainable training, inference, and data pipelines.
- Mentor and review the work of other ML engineers through technical judgment and example.
- Collaborate with research, product, and engineering teams to integrate ML features and deliver user impact.
Requirements
- Experience building and shipping machine learning systems used by real users.
- Strong understanding of how modern machine learning models behave in production.
- Production-quality coding ability and systems-oriented thinking.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and deliver ambiguous projects end to end.
- Ability to learn quickly, communicate clearly, and improve through iteration.
