Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI/ML-based tools and frameworks for functional testing of Cisco products.
- Develop, test, and maintain AI-driven solutions for network monitoring, automation, and optimization.
- Participate in test automation using scripting, AI tools, and networking frameworks.
- Monitor system performance, investigate anomalies, and contribute to root-cause analysis and resolution.
- Support network engineering activities including configuration validation, troubleshooting, and performance analysis.
- Collaborate with senior engineers on testing and deployment of network and AI-based features.
- Contribute to internal tools, proofs of concept, innovation projects, and department documentation.
- Help the test team expand its knowledge of AI/ML, testing technologies, and networking.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, or a related engineering field.
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML development, implementation, or related areas.
- Strong knowledge of AI/ML concepts and their practical application.
- Excellent programming or scripting skills in Python.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with networking concepts including TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network protocols is preferred.
