Base Salary
$254k - $299k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the multi-quarter technical strategy for Payments.
- Architect and evolve the core Payments platform for high availability and low latency.
- Lead end-to-end design and rollout of large, cross-team initiatives.
- Set and enforce technical standards for financial correctness across Payments.
- Partner with various teams to design cohesive architectures.
- Provide deep technical mentorship to senior engineers.
- Use data to identify platform gaps and lead reliability improvements.
- Represent Payments in executive and cross-org forums.
Requirements
- 10+ years building and operating large-scale distributed systems.
- Deep money-movement architecture experience.
- Expertise in backend programming and cloud-native architecture.
- Proven track record designing highly available systems.
- Ability to anticipate scaling bottlenecks and take proactive measures.
- Experience leading cross-functional technical initiatives.
- Commitment to technical excellence and sharing best practices.
- Ability to distill complex technical concepts into actionable solutions.
Benefits
- Base salary range of $253,895—$298,700 USD.
