Base Salary
$152k - $288k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement and optimize production ML algorithms in Go for real-time, massive-scale streaming pipelines.
- Design anomaly detection, health-scoring, and predictive-analytics algorithms for GPU and network telemetry.
- Improve existing algorithms and evaluate approaches suited to streaming, latency-sensitive, and resource-constrained environments.
- Build and maintain end-to-end ML pipelines covering data ingestion, schema design, and model inference.
- Partner with Data Science on algorithm design, prototype evaluation, and translating research into platform requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years of experience, master’s degree with 3+ years, or PhD with 1+ years in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of statistics, probability, linear algebra, and algorithm analysis.
- Production experience implementing and optimizing ML algorithms, with strong coding and implementation skills.
- Strong programming ability in one or more of Go, C, C++, Rust, or Scala; Python working knowledge is a plus.
- Familiarity with time-series databases and streaming data architectures.
- Ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced engineering environment.
- Data Science experience building and validating ML models, implementing algorithms in systems languages, conducting ML research, or working with Kafka-based streaming pipelines and real-time feature engineering are preferred.
Benefits
- Competitive base salary ranging from $152,000 to $241,500 for Level 3 and $184,000 to $287,500 for Level 4.
