Responsibilities
- Define technical solutions through research and team investigation under the CTO’s direction.
- Design and construct full-stack software, including code structure, deployment architecture, DevOps, automated testing, and third-party integrations.
- Guide proofs of concept into production and mentor team members on technologies and practices.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams on solution design and roadmap delivery within agreed budgets.
- Migrate polyglot solutions to standardized Rust and TypeScript and develop more portable deployment architectures.
- Design and build distributed and asynchronous systems using microservices and messaging.
- Use LLMs extensively to accelerate software delivery and produce design documents.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience as a Software Developer or Engineer, including enterprise-level complexity.
- High proficiency in at least one enterprise-quality programming language and its ecosystem, such as C# .NET or Java and Spring.
- Experience with a lower-level application or systems language, preferably Rust or alternatively C++.
- Experience with TypeScript and React or similar frontend frameworks, plus strong web application development knowledge.
- Hands-on Azure and/or AWS deployment experience, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure scripting frameworks such as Terraform.
- Demonstrable experience designing and building distributed and asynchronous architectures, including microservices and messaging.
- Experience using LLMs in place of hand-coding and explaining their effect on delivery speed and system safety.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for translating requirements into technical tasks.
