Responsibilities
- Contribute to production-grade cloud-native applications integrating large language models, RAG pipelines, and agent-based AI components.
- Work within customer projects and cross-functional delivery teams to understand business processes, technical environments, and customer needs.
- Implement features, components, and integrations under the guidance of senior engineers while maintaining code quality and engineering standards.
- Support prototyping, testing, iteration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and reliability improvements for AI solutions in customer environments.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, design sessions, documentation, and development of reusable engineering components.
Requirements
- Foundational software engineering skills with proficiency in Python and hands-on experience in at least one cloud-native development environment.
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts, large language models, API-based AI services, and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
- Exposure to data pipelines, MLOps concepts, or AI/ML model integration in application contexts.
- Basic understanding of AWS, Azure, or GCP and familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to collaborate in cross-functional and customer-facing teams, follow engineering standards, take ownership of assigned work, and communicate effectively.
- Interest in or early exposure to SAP AI Core or SAP Business Technology Platform is preferred.
