Base Salary
$108k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, test, debug, and enhance EIM application workflows.
- Develop and configure workflows using OpenText AppWorks, Content Server, and government-owned code.
- Work with government and support teams to resolve application issues and coordinate technical requirements.
- Deliver user stories through sprint planning, development, integration testing, demos, and retrospectives.
- Analyze and close ServiceNow trouble tickets and support after-hours production issues and weekend deployments.
- Build and maintain healthcare interoperability interfaces using HL7, IHE XDR/XCA, FHIR, and web services, including migrations to MuleSoft.
- Support COTS upgrades, IAVA patches, and security remediation while keeping code free of CAT I and CAT II findings.
- Use AI tools and techniques to reduce development time, improve deployments, and reduce defects.
- Deliver source code and documentation and update technical design documents, interface control documents, and data dictionaries.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems management, mathematics, engineering, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of technical experience related to Health IT.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust position, required background investigation, and DoD Common Access Card.
- Local presence in the DC metro area for onsite customer meetings.
- Demonstrated experience developing DoD systems using the DoD Issuance 5000.02 agile development process.
- Demonstrated technical expertise in application and business process development.
- Experience using AI technologies to reduce development time, improve deployments, and reduce defects.
- Knowledge of computer concepts and techniques for developing automated solutions involving engineering, scientific, or business data.
- Experience with healthcare interoperability standards including HL7, FHIR, IHE, and DICOM.
- Preferred experience with MuleSoft, Salesforce, AWS GovCloud, OpenText Content Suite, OpenText AppWorks, and Archive Center.
- Experience with the Defense Health Agency, Military Health System, or DHA’s EIM platform is preferred.
- Ability to complete required HIPAA and Privacy Act training and sign a DHA Non-Disclosure Agreement.
