Responsibilities
- Collaborate with design, product management, and engineering teams to create customer-focused software solutions.
- Work on small-to-medium full-stack features from technical design through completion with guidance.
- Write clean code and unit tests, participate in code reviews, and address review feedback.
- Perform coding, debugging, testing, troubleshooting, and scale, reliability, and velocity testing throughout development.
- Apply secure coding principles and review code for compliance with privacy and security practices.
- Monitor and triage incident reports, participate in postmortems, and potentially participate in on-call duties.
- Create technical design documentation and contribute to end-user documentation.
- Estimate work, communicate status and blockers, share knowledge, and help resolve problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of related experience, or master's degree plus 0 years of related experience.
- Basic knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts within a technical discipline.
- Exposure to current technologies through coursework or internship.
- Ability to collaborate effectively, analyze information, ask clarifying questions, and work within standard procedures.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle practices, including requirements analysis, design, coding, unit testing, and acceptance testing.
