Software Engineer - Software Test

Responsibilities
- Perform software unit, integration, and automated testing in host, development, and laboratory environments.
- Integrate and troubleshoot software components across multiple networks and coordinate with customer subject-matter experts.
- Diagnose root causes of issues involving software, systems, and hardware during installation, integration, acceptance testing, and operational events.
- Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation and submit problem reports for identified errors.
- Collaborate with software developers, system engineers, hardware engineers, and integration/test engineers across the software lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and two years of related engineering experience, or a master’s degree in a STEM discipline with entry-level related engineering experience.
- Experience integrating and testing software and hardware components in Unix and Windows environments.
- Experience with formal software lifecycle development methodologies from requirements through testing.
- Active U.S. Government Secret clearance and ability to obtain Security+ certification within six months.
- Preferred qualifications include familiarity with software network interfaces, installation/configuration/test automation, Agile systems engineering, scripting languages, Confluence, JIRA, communication, and technical writing.
