Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Build, own, and maintain enterprise integrations between BizFlow workflow applications and customer enterprise systems.
- Develop and consume REST and SOAP web services with JSON/XML payloads, authentication, error handling, and retry logic.
- Build reliable, secure, and well-instrumented backend services.
- Create data mappings, transformations, validation logic, migrations, and synchronization processes across systems.
- Write and optimize complex SQL, relational schemas, queries, and stored procedures.
- Mentor developers through code review, pairing, coaching, and technical direction on a workstream.
- Set backend and integration standards and lead design and code reviews.
- Document integration designs, configurations, and support runbooks.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, business analysts, program and project managers, customer technical staff, and other stakeholders.
- Support unit and integration testing, QA and User Acceptance Testing, builds, environment configuration, and deployments.
- Troubleshoot production issues across application, integration, database, and server layers and drive issues to root cause.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of professional backend development experience with strong hands-on Java.
- Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, relational schemas, and performance tuning.
- Production experience building enterprise integrations using REST and SOAP web services and APIs.
- Experience mentoring or leading developers through code review and technical direction.
- Experience with data mapping, transformation, validation, migration, and cross-system integration.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across application, integration, database, and server layers.
- Ability to learn the BizFlow platform quickly and deeply.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Preferred experience with workflow, BPM, or low-code platforms such as BizFlow, Appian, Pega, Mendix, or ServiceNow.
- Preferred familiarity with BPMN 2.0, workflow engines, business process modeling, Salesforce, Microsoft Power Platform, HR and ERP systems, message queues, batch processing, event-driven integration patterns, CI/CD tooling, automated deployment pipelines, containerization, regulated environments, Section 508, and HR, healthcare, or public-sector domains.
