Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
- Build and integrate REST APIs with internal and external systems.
- Contribute to frontend development and UI integration using React or Angular.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and implementations.
- Write maintainable, testable code and participate in code reviews.
- Perform unit and integration testing, debugging, and production troubleshooting.
- Work with DevOps teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and technology decisions.
- Support application security, performance tuning, scalability, and observability.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture, data structures and algorithms, and REST API development.
- Working knowledge of React or Angular for UI integration and API binding.
- Experience with Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL and SQL.
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes basics.
- Experience with JUnit, Mockito, or similar testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodology.
- Desirable experience includes AWS, Azure, or GCP; Kafka, RabbitMQ, or event-driven systems; MongoDB, Cassandra, or Redis; API Gateway or Service Mesh; Terraform; TypeScript, HTML5, or CSS3; Ehcache; OAuth2, JWT, or Spring Security.
