Responsibilities
- Embed security practices into the SDLC across backend, mobile, and web applications.
- Deploy and maintain SAST, DAST, SCA, and MAST security tools in CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform threat modeling and security reviews for new and existing projects.
- Develop Python, Go, and Bash scripts and tools to automate security checks and AppSec processes.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to explain and remediate vulnerabilities.
- Support AI-related security initiatives and safe adoption of ML/AI features.
- Evolve internal security guidelines and baselines.
- Participate in cross-functional discussions to align security requirements with business goals.
Requirements
- Solid understanding of application security concepts and secure software development practices.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and implementing security tools such as SAST, DAST, and SCA.
- Knowledge of Python, Go, Bash, or comparable scripting and programming languages for automation and tooling.
- Familiarity with container security tools such as Trivy and Aqua.
- Experience with modern web, mobile, API, and MCP architectures.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Preferred experience conducting security assessments in distributed systems environments.
- Preferred experience with Semgrep, Fortify, Checkmarx, Veracode, GitHub Actions, or GitLab Workflow.
- Preferred knowledge of AI security concepts, emerging AI/ML security risks, threat modeling methodologies, and financial-services regulatory and compliance requirements.
