Responsibilities
- Partner with software engineering and platform teams to identify and solve complex security problems.
- Operate, integrate, tune, and measure SAST, DAST, SCA, and CNAPP tooling across development pipelines.
- Triage security findings, submit remediation pull requests, and validate fixes through automated retesting.
- Design, build, and maintain agentic and LLM-assisted security tools for exploitable code identification, vulnerability triage, and remediation guidance.
- Identify security gaps, recommend remediation, and address issues throughout the secure software development lifecycle.
- Conduct security testing from product planning through production deployment.
- Define and integrate security requirements aligned with industry standards and best practices.
- Lead cybersecurity and cross-functional security initiatives while tracking the effectiveness of security programs.
- Monitor emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and controls.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience across multiple security domains, emphasizing product security and cloud-native security.
- At least 2 years of senior security experience leading and executing product security initiatives.
- Verifiable software engineering and penetration testing skills.
- Proficiency in Python, .NET, or TypeScript, with hands-on experience building security automation, integrations, and agentic tooling.
- Hands-on experience operating and integrating SAST, DAST, SCA, WAF, and CNAPP solutions such as Semgrep, Checkmarx, Snyk, or Wiz within pipelines.
- Experience designing, reviewing code for, and securing public cloud applications and infrastructure.
- Experience with Burp Suite and Kali Linux.
- Experience securing applications deployed with Docker, Kubernetes, and public cloud environments.
- Product Security experience in a SaaS organization or consulting firm.
- Leadership experience driving security initiatives within software development teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; self-motivated, self-directed, and self-organized.
