Responsibilities
- Build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines with embedded security testing, controls, guardrails, and automated checks.
- Strengthen application, cloud-native, Kubernetes, and container security by identifying risks and implementing practical controls.
- Enable secure development for MLOps, Data Science, AI, and engineering teams through security standards and solutions.
- Identify, assess, prioritize, and help remediate CVEs and other vulnerabilities with application teams.
- Contribute to security testing, monitoring, observability, tooling, automation, and continuous improvement.
- Advise development teams on emerging security issues and help integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience as a DevSecOps or Application Security Engineer.
- Senior-level technical depth and independence to own complex security topics and translate requirements into practical engineering solutions.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD security and GitHub, GitLab, or comparable tooling, including automated pipeline guardrails and checks.
- Solid expertise in application and cloud-native security, including Kubernetes/container security, vulnerability management, CVEs, security scanning, triage, prioritization, and remediation workflows.
- Experience working closely with developers to apply shift-left security practices.
- Experience with Python and Data & AI/ML environments is preferred.
