Responsibilities
- Build, optimize, and manage cloud-native systems, including Kubernetes clusters and cloud resources.
- Document, maintain, improve, and validate infrastructure work products.
- Participate in Scrum team planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate cybersecurity and architecture reviews.
- Execute project initiatives with global teams.
- Optimize infrastructure performance and scalability, and support service discovery, load balancing, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least five years of experience with large-scale infrastructure systems in a production environment.
- Proficiency in modern programming and scripting languages such as Go, Python, Bash, C#, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Experience with Kubernetes cluster lifecycle, networking, and upgrades, as well as Docker and other containerization technologies.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Preferred qualifications include advanced cloud and configuration-management training, network architecture and security knowledge, GitOps experience with Argo CD or Flux, DevSecOps automation experience, and expertise in cloud backup and disaster recovery.
