Responsibilities
- Own the product security research agenda and identify emerging attack patterns.
- Shape security direction across products and platforms.
- Research emerging threats and analyze their impact on products.
- Design pragmatic defenses that are adopted across the organization.
- Lead multi-quarter initiatives to reduce risk and improve security maturity.
- Mentor teams on strategic thinking regarding threats and risk.
- Represent Chainguard externally through talks and thought leadership.
Requirements
- Deep experience in product or application security.
- Expert knowledge in secure architecture, application security, and risk management.
- Ability to turn ambiguous problems into structured initiatives.
- Proven ability to present complex ideas to executive stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends and research methods.
- Work independently while collaborating effectively with others.
- Comfortable in fast-evolving and uncertain contexts.
