Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end frontend architecture for SEM domains, including client applications, shared UI infrastructure, rendering, and real-time data flows.
  • Design and evolve large-scale frontend architectures using React, TypeScript, and Redux.
  • Design platforms or frameworks from scratch and drive adoption across teams without direct management authority.
  • Architect and operate a micro-frontend ecosystem using Module Federation, including boundaries, shared dependencies, versioning, and independent deployment.
  • Define application state-management strategy across distributed frontend systems.
  • Design and optimize data-dense, continuously updating interfaces using canvas/WebGL or image rendering, large grids, visualization, and WebSocket/SSE transports.
  • Collaborate with backend and algorithm teams on APIs, data contracts, system design, and performance trade-offs.
  • Lead frontend performance engineering through profiling, measurement, performance budgets, and optimization.
  • Establish architectural governance, design reviews, standards, and reference patterns.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues across frontend and backend touchpoints.
  • Mentor engineers and architects and grow a frontend architecture community of practice.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in architecture roles for web clients.
  • Deep expertise with React, Angular or VueJS, TypeScript, and state-management libraries, including rendering behavior and performance at scale.
  • Proven experience designing large, complex frontend architectures and managing application state at scale.
  • Solid working knowledge of backend architecture and system design, including APIs, services, data modeling, and distributed systems.
  • Hands-on production experience with micro-frontends and Module Federation.
  • Experience designing a platform or framework from scratch and driving adoption across teams not directly managed.
  • Experience with data-dense canvas/WebGL visualization and real-time browser transports.
  • Strong frontend performance-engineering experience involving profiling, measurement, budgets, and concrete optimization.
  • Ability to design around domain models, team topology, release cadence, and legacy constraints.
  • Ability to reason credibly about backend architecture and distributed-system trade-offs.

Benefits

  • Supportive and collaborative work culture with professional development and career advancement opportunities.
