Responsibilities
- Develop and configure Parsec TrakSYS MES applications based on requirements and technical specifications.
- Configure and develop TrakSYS Content Pages, Content Parts, Forms, Workflows, Data Models, Business Logic, Dashboards, and Reports.
- Develop and maintain application components using C#, .NET, and ASP.NET.
- Develop and consume REST APIs and Web Services.
- Create SQL queries, views, functions, and stored procedures using Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
- Support integrations with SAP/ERP systems, shop-floor equipment, OPC/Historians, and third-party applications.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and defect resolution.
- Support deployment, troubleshooting, production support, technical documentation, test cases, and implementation documentation.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, technical discussions, and collaboration with senior engineers and team leads.
- Follow coding standards, version-control practices, and CI/CD processes while building MES and TrakSYS expertise.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in software development or MES application development.
- 1–2 years of experience with Parsec TrakSYS development or configuration.
- Working knowledge of C#, .NET, ASP.NET, object-oriented programming, REST APIs, Web Services, Microsoft SQL Server, and T-SQL.
- Exposure to TrakSYS Content Pages, Content Parts, Forms, Workflows, Data Models, Dashboards, and Reports.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes including Production Execution, Quality Management, Inventory Management, Batch/Recipe Management, and Electronic Data Collection.
- Exposure to application deployment, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Working knowledge of Git and Azure DevOps.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or a related field, with 15 years of full-time education stated.
- Experience working in an Agile environment and the ability to analyze requirements and implement solutions under technical guidance.
- Preferred qualifications include TrakSYS certification or formal training, industry experience in life sciences, food and beverage, chemicals, or manufacturing, ISA-95 knowledge, and exposure to IIS, cloud technologies, CI/CD, or AI-assisted development tools.
