Responsibilities
- Develop C++ software that interfaces GM’s autonomy stack with vehicle sensors and custom hardware.
- Design, document, implement, and deliver complex, scalable, low-latency software through incremental development.
- Improve software reliability through requirements generation, continuous integration, automated testing, issue tracking, and code reviews.
- Collaborate with colleagues across multiple teams and mentor other developers.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience writing production-quality software.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or relevant work experience.
- Experience with C++11 or later and software development best practices.
- Preferred qualifications include 4+ years of production software experience, embedded Linux/POSIX development, production software testing and shipping, safety-critical development, embedded build systems, sensor integration, networking, ROS or other robotics middleware, C, Python, Bash, Go, QNX, VxWorks, or similar systems.
