Responsibilities
- Drive platform architecture and security best practices in the Asia Pacific and Japan region.
- Guide customers in their platform architecture and security decisions.
- Present and demo the Databricks platform to potential clients.
- Support field engineering teams with security posture and practices.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to define product direction based on local insights.
- Lead a team of specialists to scale impact in local regions.
- Engage with customers and gather feedback to inform product strategy.
- Act as a thought leader by speaking at conferences and publishing content.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data platform and modern lakehouse architectures.
- 10+ years of experience in developing enterprise security best practices.
- Deep technical knowledge of the Databricks platform and its security design.
- Ability to act as a trusted advisor to technical executives.
- Strong communication skills for high-impact interactions internally and externally.
