Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test strategies.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, document, track, and retest defects using defect tracking tools.
- Validate bug fixes and prepare test execution reports, quality metrics, and risk updates.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and development, product management, and design teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Contribute to QA process improvements and participate in peer reviews of test cases and results.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in manual software testing.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle and QA methodologies.
- Proficiency in creating and executing test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
- Familiarity with test management tools such as TestRail.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Basic knowledge of Selenium or Appium, familiarity with performance testing concepts and tools, and awareness of GDPR or HIPAA are preferred.
- Exposure to Scrum or Kanban and understanding of CI/CD pipelines are preferred.
