Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, cross-browser, load, and performance testing.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as JIRA and Bugzilla.
- Perform API testing and maintain test environments and test data.
- Participate in requirements analysis and provide feedback on testability and potential risks.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure product quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with the posting requesting 2–4+ years.
- Experience with cross-browser testing tools such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
- Familiarity with load and performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.
- Experience with test automation frameworks including Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Hands-on API testing experience with Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.
- Proficiency writing test scripts in Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred experience includes mobile application testing, security testing, and ISTQB certification or equivalent.
