Base Salary

$133k - $184k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain deployment infrastructure for Airflow, Flink, and chalk.ai environments
  • Own and operate DynamoDB and RDS infrastructure for data engineering and platform teams
  • Write infrastructure-as-code with Terraform and manage production workloads on Kubernetes
  • Partner with Data Engineering to develop scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions
  • Drive platform reliability improvements through observability, capacity planning, and operational hygiene
  • Design, build, test, and ship infrastructure changes
  • Help scale the Data Infra team's engineering practices

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of software engineering experience focused on infrastructure, platform, or backend systems
  • Hands-on production experience with Terraform and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with AWS, particularly DynamoDB and RDS
  • Strong programming skills in Python or a similar language
  • Ability to design for reliability, scalability, and maintainability
  • Ability to work autonomously on ambiguous problems and communicate clearly across teams
  • Experience with data ingestion and ETL pipelines is a strong plus
