Base Salary

$180k - $250k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Architect and ship full-stack features end-to-end, from scoping and technical design through production.
  • Build and integrate with Palantir Foundry ontologies and pipelines, AIP agents, and Maven Smart System workflows.
  • Develop AI-powered product surfaces such as intelligent intake flows, constituent assistants, automated case routing, and agency dashboards.
  • Build within classification and data-handling constraints.
  • Set technical direction, improve code quality, and establish reusable engineering patterns.
  • Engage with federal agency stakeholders to translate complex requirements into shippable products.
  • Own platform reliability and performance at government scale.
  • Mentor earlier-career engineers through code review, pairing, and technical feedback.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.
  • At least 3 years of professional engineering experience with ownership of complex features and systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry, AIP, or Maven Smart System, including ontology modeling, pipelines, or AIP agents.
  • Deep fluency in React, Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, and Postgres.
  • Experience using AI coding tools such as Cursor, Copilot, or Claude.
  • Evidence of building and owning a real product, open-source project, or designed system.
  • Ability to define problems and operate effectively in ambiguous environments.
  • Strong orientation toward end users.
  • Preferred qualifications include classified or accredited-environment experience, Forward Deployed Engineer experience, government or regulated-industry experience, cloud deployment depth, design-system experience, and early-stage technical leadership.
