Responsibilities
- Design and implement Selenium-based automated test suites for complex web applications and services.
- Develop scalable test frameworks and utilities to expand automation coverage and reduce manual regression effort.
- Create functional, regression, integration, and realistic user-journey test scenarios from business and technical requirements.
- Execute automated and targeted manual tests, interpret results, and collaborate with developers to resolve defects.
- Maintain and enhance Selenium suites by refactoring flaky tests, improving locators, and optimizing execution time.
- Integrate automated tests into continuous integration pipelines and monitor pipeline health.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, quality specialists, and domain experts to align test strategies with business priorities.
- Reproduce and investigate production issues, document root causes, and recommend preventive measures.
- Prepare test plans, test cases, execution reports, and other quality documentation.
- Mentor junior quality engineers on Selenium testing patterns and debugging practices.
- Coordinate test data, test accounts, and stable environments with environment and operations teams.
- Design focused automation for performance and reliability assessments, including response times, error rates, and user-flow stability.
- Refine test scenarios for travel booking flows, pricing rules, and partner integrations when domain experts are available.
Requirements
- Six to eight years of experience in web service automation or related test automation work.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with Katalon Studio, Java, REST Assured, and Spring Boot.
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used with Selenium, plus object-oriented design and modular test architecture knowledge.
- Practical experience designing, maintaining, and executing automated regression suites integrated with continuous integration pipelines in an enterprise environment.
- Working knowledge of version control systems, defect-tracking tools, and test-management platforms.
- Experience or strong interest in the travel intermediaries domain is preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and quality-risk reporting skills.
