Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and delivery of enterprise applications for the pharmaceutical regulatory ecosystem.
- Define software architecture and drive technical excellence across development teams.
- Guide teams in building secure, scalable, and high-quality solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and promote development best practices.
- Apply performance optimization, scalability, troubleshooting, and software security principles.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and distributed or multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software development with strong Java expertise.
- Proven experience in technical leadership and software architecture design.
- Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, enterprise application development, and REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with code reviews, software security, performance optimization, scalability, and troubleshooting.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies and strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English.
- Preferred: experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other regulated sectors; Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud; Docker and Kubernetes; regulatory compliance; modern frontend technologies; relevant Java, cloud, architecture, or Agile certifications; and leadership of distributed or multidisciplinary teams.
