Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and delivery of enterprise applications for the pharmaceutical regulatory ecosystem.
- Define software architecture and drive technical excellence across development teams.
- Guide teams in building secure, scalable, and high-quality solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and promote software development best practices.
- Support performance optimization, troubleshooting, and adherence to security and scalability principles.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and distributed or multidisciplinary teams in a regulated environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of software development experience with strong Java expertise.
- Proven experience in technical leadership and software architecture design.
- Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, enterprise application development, and REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of software security, performance optimization, and scalability principles.
- Experience with code reviews, Agile methodologies, and stakeholder management.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English.
- Preferred experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other regulated sectors.
- Preferred knowledge of Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud; Docker and Kubernetes; modern frontend technologies; regulatory compliance; and data protection requirements.
- Relevant Java, cloud, architecture, or Agile certifications and experience leading distributed or multidisciplinary teams are advantageous.
