Base Salary
$131k - $169k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own large-scope backend projects independently from discovery through launch, focusing on outcomes and customer impact.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and product managers, to solve customer challenges and deliver features.
- Improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of existing systems.
- Add capabilities to high-volume, fault-tolerant processing infrastructure.
- Enhance testing, monitoring, and continuous deployment infrastructure.
- Build, deploy, and maintain large-scale complex applications.
- Keep highly sensitive data compartmentalized and secure.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, knowledge-sharing, and support for junior developers.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional development experience.
- Proficiency in server-side languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, or Ruby; Go experience is a plus.
- Solid SQL skills and understanding of database fundamentals.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, including basic deployment and monitoring.
- Interest in helping junior developers and contributing to team knowledge sharing.
- Experience collaborating with designers and product managers on feature development.
