Responsibilities

  • Recommend enterprise reference architectures for AI-related solutions and design end-to-end Generative AI, Machine Learning, and agentic pipelines.
  • Evaluate technical feasibility, conduct POCs and MVPs, define technical requirements and integration points, and estimate implementation effort and resources.
  • Optimize AI architectures for scalability, latency, cost efficiency, token management, reliability, and long-term sustainability.
  • Ensure architectures align with security, compliance, AI governance, risk reviews, lifecycle requirements, and auditability.
  • Provide technical oversight, architecture reviews, leadership, and mentorship for AI implementation teams.
  • Design and execute assessments of AI models and emerging technologies for performance, accuracy, safety, technical suitability, and integration readiness.
  • Maintain reusable AI architecture patterns, component templates, standardized interfaces, and concise architectural documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
  • 5+ years of significant experience designing end-to-end technical architectures for Machine Learning and Generative AI solutions.
  • Proven experience conducting technical feasibility assessments, rapid prototyping, POCs or MVPs, and connecting business requirements with engineering execution.
  • Experience with enterprise-scale systems, security standards, and AI governance.
  • Expertise in AI design patterns including RAG, fine-tuning, and agentic workflows, as well as model evaluation frameworks.
  • Strong technical leadership, mentorship, stakeholder management, and architecture optimization skills.
  • Professional proficiency in English is required; Italian or additional European languages are a plus.
