Responsibilities
- Develop and define solution architectures for projects and business initiatives.
- Provide architecture consultancy, technical guidance, assurance, and governance throughout project lifecycles.
- Ensure applications and IT solutions comply with architecture standards, principles, and reference architectures.
- Translate business requirements and architecture guidelines into scalable, practical technology solutions.
- Identify technical challenges, recommend technologies, assess existing solutions, and support IT optimization and innovation.
- Document architecture decisions and reusable architecture artifacts.
- Work with project teams, developers, IT specialists, business stakeholders, external suppliers, customers, and senior leadership.
- Present recommendations, explain complex technical topics, challenge proposed approaches, and influence stakeholders without formal authority.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, guidance, and knowledge sharing to other technology professionals.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in Solution Architecture, IT Architecture, or Technical Architecture.
- Proven experience designing and assuring complex IT or application solutions.
- Experience with architecture standards, principles, governance, and reference architectures.
- Strong understanding of modern IT and technology landscapes.
- Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience working with senior business and technology stakeholders and advising project teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience identifying technology optimization opportunities and challenging proposed solutions when appropriate.
- Experience mentoring or guiding other technology professionals is preferred.
