Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale content safety systems including classifiers, vector databases, and multimodal models.
- Develop and maintain production-grade distributed systems and content-processing pipelines for high-throughput, reliable server-side and on-device operation.
- Train, evaluate, and productionize models with feedback loops and automation to improve model quality and performance.
- Implement agentic workflows and advanced heuristics to detect complex abuse patterns.
- Identify and mitigate novel abuse patterns through agile engineering efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 1 year of software programming experience in Python, Java, or C++.
- At least 1 year of experience in a core ML domain such as Generative AI, NLP, computer vision, speech/audio, reinforcement learning, recommendation systems, or ML infrastructure.
- At least 1 year of experience with ML infrastructure, including model training, inference, deployment, evaluation, optimization, data processing, or debugging.
- Preferred experience managing safety for user-generated content or GenAI products and understanding adversarial incentives, abuse vectors, and virality.
- Preferred experience in factuality, product policy, or responsible AI frameworks.
- Preferred experience designing and deploying global-scale defensive architectures and pipelines with rigorous SLOs.
- Preferred experience managing technical debt, reducing bugs, and mitigating SLO breaches.
- Understanding of machine learning and LLM architecture, including transformers, activations, and large-scale training and deployment requirements.
