Base Salary
$147k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of high-scale, data-driven full-stack applications.
- Own complex features end-to-end and build and maintain production systems.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and pairing sessions.
- Lead technical initiatives and improve scalability, reliability, observability, security, and engineering workflows.
- Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teammates to translate business needs into well-architected solutions.
- Influence system architecture and contribute technical expertise to long-term product and technology strategy.
- Ensure the privacy, security, and accuracy of critical datasets.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software development experience, including 3+ years in senior-level roles.
- Proven leadership experience mentoring junior engineers, leading technical initiatives, and driving team-wide improvements.
- Strong experience building and scaling full-stack applications.
- Professional experience with several listed backend, frontend, and database technologies, including Node.js, TypeScript, Java, Python, C#, React, and PostgreSQL or another relational database.
- Demonstrated experience architecting, building, and maintaining production systems.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence technical direction and align teams.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, GraphQL, event-driven and microservice architectures, multi-tenant systems, role-based access control, and SaaS architecture.
- Preferred experience includes using Cursor, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot, and ChatGPT, and integrating LLMs through prompt engineering, embeddings, structured outputs, or agent-style workflows.
