Responsibilities
- Architect and develop end-to-end features across Java/Spring Boot backend services and responsive frontend interfaces.
- Build backend engines and supporting UIs for travel policies, approval chains, user roles, and permissions.
- Design and scale APIs and data services supporting high-volume data, reporting, transactional integrity, and integrations.
- Own the design, development, and launch of microservices and features for a defined problem domain.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams on complex cross-domain features.
- Partner with leadership on long-term technical vision and serve as a subject matter expert.
- Write high-quality, well-tested code; mentor engineers; and promote testing, monitoring, operational reliability, and documentation.
Requirements
- 7–9 years of software development experience building complex SaaS or consumer-facing web systems.
- Deep hands-on backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot, including data modeling, query optimization, and secure, scalable APIs.
- At least 4 years of frontend development experience with React, Angular, or Vue, plus TypeScript and application-state management.
- Extensive experience with microservices, distributed systems, scalable applications, and cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Demonstrated technical ownership, collaboration, communication, and ability to ship production-quality software.
- Ability to use AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, CodeGPT, Claude, and Cursor.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
