Responsibilities
- Develop new backend functionality.
- Participate in code and architectural reviews and document architecture.
- Communicate with project managers, developers, architects, QA engineers, stakeholders, and other colleagues.
- Contribute proactively to solution development and process improvements.
- Deliver the product roadmap and plan for future product development.
- Resolve complex problems during solution development and provide creative, rapid field-support solutions.
- Produce highly testable, automatable, performant code across the software development lifecycle.
- Use AI tools to support accelerated and productive development.
- Mentor more junior team members.
Requirements
- More than 4 years of commercial software development experience.
- Excellent knowledge of computer science and computing theory, including object-oriented programming, domain-driven design, SOLID, test-driven development, behavior-driven development, databases, algorithms, data structures, and enterprise and architectural patterns.
- Understanding of network protocols, authentication, and authorization flows and practices.
- Hands-on experience with C#, .NET, .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET WebAPI, ORMs, relational and NoSQL databases, messaging systems, cloud providers, testing frameworks, web servers, and version control systems.
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and DynamoDB and key-value stores such as Redis and Memcached.
- Basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Entity Framework or Dapper, SQL Server, RabbitMQ or ServiceBus, Azure, NUnit, xUnit or MSTest, and Git.
- Hands-on exposure to AI tools, preferably GitHub Copilot, and exposure to vibe coding.
- Upper-intermediate English proficiency or above.
- Desirable experience with Elasticsearch or Azure Search, REST API development for mobile applications, and integrations with third-party solutions.
- Ability to collaborate with a wide range of people, work reliably and flexibly, improve processes, embrace change, and maintain strong attention to detail.
