Responsibilities
- Apply machine learning and deep learning algorithms to solve business challenges and estimate model-driven business impact.
- Collaborate with domain and customer teams to understand business context, data dictionaries, and appropriate deep learning solutions.
- Preprocess data and perform feature engineering using Python, R, SQL, and cloud data pipelines.
- Design, develop, optimize, tune, and deploy deep learning models using TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Develop NLP solutions for text classification, entity recognition, relationship extraction, summarization, topic modeling, knowledge graph reasoning, and semantic search.
- Develop image recognition and video analysis models using deep learning algorithms and OpenCV.
- Use visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau for data exploration, outcome analysis, and model validation.
- Deploy models as cloud services or on-premises, including test/control frameworks for tracking.
- Build CI/CD pipelines for machine learning model deployment and integrate models with applications through REST APIs and connector technologies.
- Create prototypes that scale to industrial-grade solutions, write white papers, and produce demonstrable AI/ML assets.
Requirements
- Expertise in machine learning, deep learning, mathematical sciences, and statistical sciences.
- Hands-on experience with text, speech, image, and video data and current deep learning algorithms.
- Knowledge of AI solution landscapes, cloud and GPU-based compute, data security and privacy, API gateways, microservices architectures, big data ingestion, storage and processing, and CUDA programming.
- Experience using version control and collaboration tools such as Git and GitHub.
- Ability to communicate technical ideas effectively, collaborate with customer and application teams, and quantify the impact of ML models.
- Desirable experience contributing to open-source or Kaggle communities and processing large datasets with PySpark or Hadoop.
- Desirable experience with reinforcement learning, optimization or genetic algorithms, stream data processing, RPA, edge computing, AR/VR, digital ethics, and data privacy.
- Experience operationalizing and scaling deep learning models for customers is desirable.
- Experience with Azure ML, IBM Watson, AWS SageMaker, Google Cloud, DataRobot, CognitiveScale, or H2O.AI is desirable.
