Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain tooling that increases engineering velocity and product quality.
- Identify pain points and opportunities to improve developer experience and infrastructure.
- Work across front-end, back-end, build systems, and CI/CD.
- Support and mentor engineers on best practices and effective use of internal tools.
- Develop foundational web frameworks that interact with Lattice OS services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Production web application development experience with JavaScript or TypeScript, particularly TypeScript, React, and RxJS.
- Proficiency with a modern backend language such as C++, Rust, or Go.
- Familiarity with algorithms, data structures, automated testing, and related technical tools.
- At least three years of software engineering experience.
- U.S. Person status due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.
- Experience maintaining continuous integration systems such as CircleCI is preferred.
- Experience or interest in monorepos and modern build systems such as Bazel, Buck, or Nx is preferred.
- Experience or interest working in Go is preferred.
- Experience with gRPC, protobuf, or similar technologies is preferred.
