Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated coding interactions from OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, and similar tools.
- Assess response usefulness, high-level correctness, explanations, reasoning, and engineering judgment.
- Distinguish different levels of response quality and provide clear, opinionated feedback.
- Identify what worked, what failed, and what felt misleading or inconsistent with strong engineering practice.
- Help define quality standards for interactions with AI coding agents.
Requirements
- Highly experienced software engineer at Staff or Principal level, or equivalent experience.
- Strong background in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.
- Hands-on experience using OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, and Cursor.
- Deep familiarity with modern AI-assisted development workflows.
- Ability to evaluate code without fully executing or deeply reviewing every line.
- Comfort making subjective but rigorous judgments and giving direct feedback.
- High standards for engineering quality and judgment.
