Senior Developer, Fullstack - Python
Appnovation TechnologiesResponsibilities
- Develop backend automation integrating multiple metadata sources and generating governed artifacts such as data contracts.
- Design and build agent-enabled applications, MCP servers, and tools for data-contract generation and data-readiness assessment.
- Build user-facing interfaces for platform and data-discovery workflows.
- Deliver production-quality services with sound API design, testing, and CI/CD practices.
- Contribute to architecture, engineering best practices, scalability, security, and cross-functional consulting engagements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent and 6+ years of software engineering experience focused on fullstack development.
- Strong Python engineering skills, including FastAPI, asynchronous programming, API and service design, and schema validation with Pydantic or JSON Schema.
- Experience building agentic workflows and AI-driven solutions with LLMs, agent frameworks, and MCP servers.
- Proficiency with React, Vue.js, ES6, TypeScript, and modern frontend development.
- Experience with Neo4j, Supabase, RESTful APIs, microservices, unit testing, integration testing, Git, cloud computing, and serverless architecture, preferably AWS.
- Understanding of data-engineering principles, Graph RAG data structures, data governance, data catalogs, and data-contract standards.
- Preferred experience with Snowflake Cortex, Genie, Collibra, Unity Catalogue, Horizon, Databricks, and regulated or life-sciences environments.
- Prior consulting experience and strong customer-facing collaboration, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
