Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack solutions using Python, Django, Angular, and potentially ReactJS.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, business analysts, tech leads, and engineers to translate business requirements into maintainable solutions.
- Develop and customize CMS capabilities using Wagtail and integrate PostgreSQL.
- Build and consume APIs and microservices using OpenAPI and Swagger practices.
- Design task and messaging solutions and contribute to distributed cloud-based applications.
- Use AWS, Git, CI/CD and code-quality tooling, automated testing, and collaborative code reviews.
Requirements
- Significant hands-on software engineering experience with Python and Django or Flask/FastAPI, plus Angular front-end development.
- Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, SQL and NoSQL databases, data modeling, distributed systems, and communication protocols.
- Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, AWS cloud services, deployment strategies, Git, and CI/CD practices such as Jenkins.
- Strong reasoning, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills in cross-functional Agile engineering teams.
- Preferred experience with Wagtail or another CMS framework, ReactJS, Celery, RabbitMQ, Kafka, GitHub Copilot, RAG, agentic approaches, or other AI-enabled engineering practices.
