Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack solutions using Python, Django, and Angular, with potential migration to ReactJS.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, architects, business analysts, Tech Leads, and engineers to translate requirements into maintainable solutions.
- Develop and customize CMS capabilities using Wagtail and integrate PostgreSQL.
- Build and consume APIs and microservices using OpenAPI and Swagger.
- Design robust task and messaging solutions.
- Contribute to AWS cloud applications, deployment strategies, CI/CD, automated testing, Git workflows, code-quality tooling, and code reviews.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of hands-on software engineering experience using Python and Django or Flask/FastAPI, together with front-end development using Angular.
- Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, SQL and NoSQL databases, data modelling, distributed systems, and communication protocols.
- Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, AWS cloud services, deployment strategies, Git, and CI/CD practices such as Jenkins.
- Strong reasoning, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills in cross-functional engineering teams.
- Experience with Wagtail or another CMS framework is preferred.
- Knowledge of ReactJS alongside Angular is preferred.
- Experience with Celery, RabbitMQ, or Kafka is preferred.
- Experience with GitHub Copilot, RAG, agentic approaches, or other AI-enabled engineering practices is preferred.
