Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and execution of large-scale data engineering initiatives.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Analytics, and Data Governance.
- Architect robust data solutions aligned with the company’s strategic direction.
- Ensure high reliability, performance, and scalability across all data platforms.
- Provide technical mentorship and leadership to senior and junior data engineers.
- Collaborate with product and engineering leadership throughout the hiring and delivery lifecycle.
- Champion best practices, emerging technologies, and modern AI-driven development workflows.
Requirements
- Strong expertise with Snowflake.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka, Flink, Spark, and Airflow.
- Experience with semantic layers (e.g., Cube).
- Experience with federated data layers (e.g., Trino).
- Knowledge of distributed systems and modern data engineering patterns.
- Proficiency with AI tools supporting data engineering workflows.
