Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop maintainable cloud-native and standalone data visualization applications.
- Develop backend service-oriented architecture components.
- Provide technical support for application architecture, software development, continuous integration and deployment, middleware development, and software interfaces for laboratory equipment.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and scientists to develop laboratory applications supporting space-capability modeling and simulations.
- Integrate third-party libraries across multiple operating systems.
- Engage with customers to apply technology solutions to space-related challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM, with emphasis in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience architecting software solutions for engineering or scientific applications.
- Coding and scripting proficiency in at least two programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C/C++.
- Proficiency developing binary data parsers and byte-level data extraction tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to travel domestically to work locations or customer sites approximately 10% of the time.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
- Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree, 6 or more years of relevant experience, experience with multiple database technologies or diverse cloud platforms, aerospace or defense client experience, and an active TS/SCI clearance.
