Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop responsive frontend applications using Angular, React, Vue.js, Vaadin, or similar frameworks.
- Design, implement, and consume APIs.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, testers, and product stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Work with PostgreSQL and other relational databases for reliable data management.
- Apply clean code, testing, code review, and other software engineering best practices.
- Contribute to application architecture discussions and technical decisions.
- Perform troubleshooting, performance optimization, and continuous improvement.
- Support modernization and evolution of existing applications and platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum five years of professional software development experience.
- Minimum five years of hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Strong frontend development experience with Angular, React, Vue.js, Vaadin, or similar modern frameworks.
- Experience designing, developing, and consuming APIs.
- Solid experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of enterprise application architectures, design patterns, and software development best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in collaborative and international environments.
- Preferred experience includes Java 21, Java migration projects, Vaadin, Flyway, RabbitMQ, Redis, Maven multi-module applications, and healthcare or other regulated enterprise environments.
