Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end development and delivery of product features across React, TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS applications.
  • Translate business and product requirements into scalable, maintainable, secure technical solutions.
  • Develop frontend experiences with React, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, TanStack Query, and Zod.
  • Implement backend services, business logic, and APIs with NestJS.
  • Build shared contracts, validation schemas, and frontend/backend integrations.
  • Design and optimize PostgreSQL data models, queries, and database interactions using Prisma, TypeORM, or MikroORM.
  • Implement authentication and authorization using OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, and JWKS.
  • Define automated testing strategies and support deployments in Docker and Kubernetes environments.
  • Review code, mentor team members, and contribute to architecture, engineering standards, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, and Platform Engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Strong experience building full-stack applications with React, TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, and PostgreSQL.
  • Advanced knowledge of frontend architecture, state management, component design, performance optimization, and accessibility.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, API design, authentication patterns, and distributed application development.
  • Experience with TanStack Query, Zod, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, Prisma, TypeORM, or MikroORM.
  • Knowledge of Jest, Vitest, React Testing Library, and Supertest, with exposure to Playwright.
  • Experience with containerized and cloud-native applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with OpenAPI, Swagger, Scalar, Storybook, monorepos, and shared frontend/backend contract approaches.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity independently, manage technical risks, and make sound engineering decisions.
  • Experience collaborating in Agile environments and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to mentor developers, perform code reviews, and drive engineering excellence.
